All participants must register in order to be admitted to the Conference. All properly registered participants will become general members of the World Association of Lesson Studies and enjoy a one-year free membership.

Main Conference

School Visit

November 28, 2011

One day school visit to a elementary or secondary (junior and senior high school) schools. If you like to join the "School Visit", please check on your registration form. Please note that school visit requires an additional charge (JPY 3,000)
* School visit will be accepted by applicant order. If each course has full booked, you will be assigned to another course automatically.


  • Course A (Leave at 7:30 and come back to the Tokyo Dome hotel at 18:00)
  • Course B (Leave at 8:00 and come back to theTokyo Dome hotel at 17:00)
  • Course C (Course C will be announce on conference site.)

Registration benefits include the following:

  • transportation to/from School
  • lunch box
  • Lesson instruction (Lesson Plan)

Payment is accepted only by credit card. Please see “Registration & Payment”
Note: We are unable to refund registration fees for any reason. Please be careful not to register twice.


Receive confirmation e-mail

A confirmation e-mail will be sent to the address you used for registration.
Be sure to keep this e-mail because it serves as proof of registration.
If you do not receive a confirmation within 30 minutes, your registration may not have been successful. In this case, please contact us by E-mail.
Please print out your registration confirmation and present it at the reception desk on the day of the event.
You will receive a name tag and a conference bag.

VISA - IMPORTANT NOTICE

Please check whether you are required to obtain a visa to enter Japan on the Japanese Government website (http://www.mofa.go.jp/j_info/visit/visa/).

In case you need a visa, please at first check on your registration form and then contact per E-mail: wals2011@wals2011.com

The WALS 11 Secretary will send you invitation letter and some necessary items.
For preparation your documents please send us your information such as your name, passport number, date of birth, nationality, Institution, travel schedule and accommodation.

It may take more than a month to get a visa. Be sure to apply for a visa as soon as possible. Participants have responsibility for your own Visa.
