Information for presenters
Oral Presentation
A Windows-PC and a LCD projector will be prepared in the presentation room. Presenters can use either of the provided PC or their own PC for presentation.

The provided PCs have Windows 7 64bit and PowerPoint 2013 installed. Please copy your presentation file to the PC via a USB memory in the break before your presentation and check if your presentation can be displayed well.

In case of using your PC, an analog RGB 15-pin (so-called D-SUB or VGA) cable is provided for connection to the projector. Please prepare a suitable converter by yourself if needed. Please check connectivity until the break before your presentation.

Durations for each category of oral presentation are listed below: Invited: 60 minutes (including discussion) Regular oral presentation: 20 minutes (15 minutes presentation + 5 minutes discussion)
Poster Presentation
Poster presentation sessions will be held on Tuesday, November 1 and Wednesday, November 2 from 16:30-18:00. Please note the change in the time of the poster session 1 on November 1. Your poster is identified by the date and a Poster Number.

Please use the following information to assist you in the preparation of your poster:

1. Presenters are required to prepare and bring their printed poster.

2. The maximum size for printed posters is 210cm tall x 90cm wide(portrait orientation).

3. The poster format is free, but you must show title, name(s) of author(s), and institution(s) at the top of your poster.

4. The poster venue is medium conference room ICHOU on the third floor at the conference venue. 5. Your poster board will be marked with the Poster Number, and this number will be the same as in the program booklet. You do not need to print the poster number on your poster.

6. Your poster can be displayed from 8:00 a.m. November 1 and should be removed by noon on November 3 at the latest. Pushpins will be available at the venue.

7. You are recommended to be there during your presentation session.

8. The Poster Award is given to the poster presentation judged the most outstanding in the Poster Sessions.

PAPER PREPARATION
All papers must be submitted as PDF (Adobe Portable Document Format) files in BSI style (as shown in the example layout below). Authors are responsible for preparation of final papers.
PAPER EDITING AND FORMATTING AS PDF
BSI papers can be prepared using LaTeX, or MS Word.

  • Authors using MS Word: Download the template (TemplateBSI.doc), open it, edit and generate the PDF file using sofware of your choice.
  • Authors using LaTex: Download the template (TemplateBSI.zip), unpack and start editing the TemplateBSI.tex. Generate the PDF file.

  • You may download an example of paper formatted according to the BSI style here (TemplateBSI.pdf)

    When your paper is ready to be submitted, go to the BSI paper collection page and follow the instructions to upload your PDF paper.

    For uploading your paper, move to the following on-line submission web-site: Move to Online Submission System

    Please note that this is a very simple submission system and thus, once you finalize submission, you may not be able to modify/change any information and manuscript. If you really need to correct your submission, please contact the workshop secretariat via email.
    Notification of acceptance is scheduled at August 1st, August 15th, 2016.
    Please note that early registration deadline is August 20th, August 29th, 2016.
